Your pace.
Your way through.

The Digital Lab is designed around readable text, keyboard-operable controls and optional motion. No animation is required to understand the engineering.

Control the motion.

The site follows your operating system’s reduced-motion preference. You can also pause decorative motion and transitions here or in the footer. Walkthrough playback starts only when you choose Play, can be paused at any stage, and stops when the page is hidden.

Navigate with a keyboard.

Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between links and controls. Bit buttons toggle with Enter or Space. Sliders support arrow keys. The workflow’s stage selector supports arrow keys, Home and End. Escape closes the mobile navigation.

Read the same information.

The workflow includes a complete text transcript. Important benchmark charts have an exact-value table and source conditions. Calculated outputs have live announcements, and controls use text and state labels as well as color.

When JavaScript is unavailable.

Page text, source links, documentation, the initial bitwise example and the default benchmark table remain readable. Changing experiments and filtering results require JavaScript; those controls do not imply live computation without it.

Accessibility is ongoing work.

WCAG 2.2 AA is the design target. Automated and browser checks support development but do not establish full conformance or replace assistive-technology testing. Real-device, screen-reader and broader browser testing remain useful follow-up work.
